Job Description

To effectively plan the Sales Strategy for the Sevens Event

a) To plan a sales and marketing strategy and obtain approval from the GM and COO
b) Provide marketing plan no less than 6 months prior to the event
c) To review and update the sponsorship inventory by end of October
d) To work closely with the team to roll out the plan and be adaptive of the changes required
e) seeking approval from GM/COO of all sponsorship and hospitality offers promptly and timely – within 48 hours
f) Promptly and timely response to sponsors’ request – within 48 hours
g) protect the commercial rights
h) To work on a hospitality plan by end December
i) To provide a regular update on all plans and seek approval when relates to costs incurred
j) To be able to communicate clearly to the sponsors on benefits and package so there are no misunderstandings
k) To ensure all contracts or agreements are properly communicated and drafted
l) To provide excellent service to the clients on/ off site – – timely delivery of contracted sponsorship and hospitality rights and benefit
m) to ensure timely invoice and collection of sponsorship and hospitality incomes
n) Monitoring of sales reports bi-weekly and make recommendation to the commercial plan if necessary
o) To provide daily update of the progress of the sponsorship and hospitality plan  to GM/COO
p) submit  weekly report on time

To formulate a strategy to secure VIK and media buys partnership and to reach the KPIs set by RSG

a) To review and update the sponsorship inventory
b) to produce the product campaign / report weekly
c) seeking approval from GM/COO of all sponsorship offers promptly and timely – within 48 hours
d) Promptly and timely response to potential sponsors’ request – within 48 hours
e) protect the commercial rights
f) to propose a plan for client servicing on/off site – timely delivery of contracted sponsorship and rights and benefit
g) to ensure timely invoice and collection of sponsorship  incomes
h) To provide daily update of the progress of the sponsorship plan weekly  to GM/COO
i) submit  weekly report on time

To liaise with World Rugby and global sponsors' service agencies to fulfil all global sponsorship rights and requests

a) Provide marketing plan to the appointed commercial agency no less than 6 months prior to the event
b) To review and update the global sponsorship inventory by October
c) To ensure to receive the global sponsors marketing plan by October and integrate in the global marketing plan
d) To receive the appointed commercial agency product campaign / report monthly or as per agreement
e) to receive the global sponsor’ activation plan by November and validate by December
f) Promptly and timely response to global sponsors’ request – within 48 hours
g) to ensure timely invoice and collection of additional sponsorship and hospitality incomes
h) to attend and plan the meeting with the global sponsors, world rugby, service providers  via skype or face to face on time as per arrangement
i) submit  weekly report on time to GM/COO

To assist on collaborations with host broadcaster for the event

a) to assist on the plan with PR manager on the marketing plan to  Host broadcaster by November
b) to finalize our entitlement by December
c) to receive the Host Broadcaster’s marketing plan by November and integrate in the global marketing plan
d) to liaise with World Rugby to ensure the Host broadcaster receive the all information to air the tournament

To work independently to identify and appoint a merchandising agency to provide high quality products for staff, volunteers and merchandising

a) to appoint the merchandising agency by December
b) to receive the proposals by December and finalize the process by January
c) to finalize their rights and entitlement by December
d) to link up with the operations managers to identify the space of merchandising

To organize a successful Gala Dinner prior to the event

a) To formulate strategies and process of organizing the Gala Dinner by November
b) To identify and confirm the date of Gala Dinner by November
c) To identify and confirm the speakers by December
d) send the ‘save the date’ message by December
e) to appoint an agency to organize and manage the Gala Dinner by December
f) to receive the agency business plan and roadsheet by early January
g) Promptly and timely response to organizer’s requests – within 48 hours
h) submit  weekly report on time to GM/COO

a) To be punctual for work and meetings
b) To be well prepare for all meeting
c) To be able to prioritize the work for the week
d) To be able and willing to share information with the team and work with the team
e) To report effectively as required (weekly reports, meeting minutes, etc)
f) to show commitment (attitude, presence, prior validation of leave)
g) to be efficient at work and reach set targets
h) to be solution orientated
