29 November 2019, Singapore – Ticket holders for next year’s HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens can once again look forward to so much more than just rugby, as the annual showpiece looks to turn on the style, promising a uniquely Singaporean experience at the National Stadium.

‘The Sevens – Singapore Style’ is set to be the mantra for the 2020 event and will spearhead the national and international publicity for the two-day Sevens carnival, taking place on 11 and 12 April, as organisers look to show Sevens fans around the world, just what makes the Singapore-stop on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series so special.

In a bold, new creative approach, advertisements will seek to emphasise and celebrate all the things that make the event unique to Singapore – the food, the fun, the family activities, the safety and reliability of the city, and of course the rugby. Blending a fun illustrative style with bold rugby imagery, the intention is to bring each element of the Singapore Sevens experience to life.

The 2020 edition of the Singapore Sevens will look to build on the success of this year’s event which saw close to 57,000 fans enjoy the two-day family fiesta, where South Africa eventually triumphed over Fiji in a thrilling final.

Known as the Family Sevens for its family-centric format, event-goers will be able to enjoy an extensive line-up of in-stadium entertainment including sing-alongs, giant screen games, live music, a Family Fun Zone, Splash Party, and rugby-themed activities. Full details of the 2020 entertainment line-up will be announced in the new year.
